According to the ancient Indian philosophy, all activities in
existence are expressions of an eternally ongoing worship of
God, performed not by the individuals acting, but by the
personification of the material energy providing the possiblitiy
to act.
This personification of the material energy is called Maya.
Maya also means illusion in Sanskrit. As her service to or worship
of God she creates and maintains the virtual reality of this world
so perfectly as if it was done by God Himself. And we perceive this
world as if it was almost real.
